DTN Weather Summary
Central U.S. Mostly Dry Tuesday
Bryce Anderson (Bio) – DTN Meteorologist

A little light snow and rain will move from the central Plains into the southwest Midwest Tuesday. The balance of the key U.S. crop areas continue mainly dry. In South America, scattered showers and thundershowers are expected in southern Argentina crop areas later Tuesday or Tuesday night. The southern Brazil soybean areas look to be mostly dry and hot Tuesday. Low temperatures in Europe continue to put winter rapeseed and to a lesser extent winter wheat at risk of damage in areas that lack a significant snow cover. » More DTN Weather Commentary

Here's a link to the WSU Extension Spokane County website.

On this page are links to some helpful spreadsheets that you can use to calculate your return on investment and also evaluate what level of crop insurance is right for you.  If you haven't priced any new crop wheat yet or are wondering if you should be doing more this information can be useful in setting financial goals for the upcoming year.  Often times having set goals can help by removing some of the emotion that is always present when deciding on whether or not to make a sale.
